About Tatyana Stan
I’m Tatyana, a fashion blogger and personal stylist during the day and bartender in Denver, Colorado during the night. Born and raised in Ural mountains, Russia. My parents would say that I loved fashion since I was 2. Even when I was little, my mom and I were getting ideas from magazines and had our clothes tailored for us. With fabric leftovers I used to make clothes for my dolls and play dress ups. In middle school I started making my own sketches of clothes and sew them myself or if they were difficult, get them done by tailor. While I was in University studying finance (I didn’t think it would be a good choice for me but I went anyway), I decided not to stop on doing what I love, and attended fashion design course and clothes engineering certification program at Art Institute. At the age of 22, I moved across the world to United States, to study English. And I never left back. I graduated from Los Angeles-based School of Style. I created itSpiffy.com blog for all of you women out there to encourage a worthwhile lifestyle throughout fashion, travel and education. I hope my posts will inspire you to bring positivity in every day of your life by simply putting an outfit that you love on, or challenge yourself to try new styles, or mix prints but always be confident and sure in your decisions. Based in Denver and Russia raised, I define my style as combination of smart-fancy and comfortable-chic. I always go for that middle ground but still polished look. I’d love to help you to find your way to express your self as well, be bold in your outfits, find more combinations of the things you already have and fill in your wardrobes with clothes that look and feel great in!
